Mamê's group is back to Oba 2020! Considered one of the most respected and credible axé bands in the music scene, Batom na Cueca raises up crowds around the world. They come from Brasília and have been playing since 1996. In Votuporanga, their passages are known for the great lively show on top of the trio elétrico and the “Open Corridor” that agitates the entire avenue.

Bonde do Tigrão

Bonde do Tigrão led the radio charts in the 2000s selling over 250,000 copies in Brazil on their debut album. Currently, the carioca group is one of the biggest representatives of funk in the country. Old hits such as "Cerol na mão" and "Tchutchuca" contrast with the group's releases as the latest hit "Pique baile de favela".
 

Chemical Surf

Always innovative and irreverent, the artist has got great hits to her career. The release disc called “Hoje”, had its track best-selling musics in Billboard Brazil. Her new work on the DVD “Hello Mundo” has more than 3 millions visualisations on Youtube.

Wesley Safadão

Wesley Safadão will be back to Oba 2020! A sucess in our stage, he started his career in 2017, when he was a dancer in the band “Garota Safada”. When the singer of the group decided to leave, Wesley took the post. With a faster beat and a charisma that only Safadão owns, he conquered fans all over the country. Some of his most famous hits are “Amor Falso”, “Ar Condicionado no Quinze”, “Só Pra Castigar”, “Romance com Safadeza”, among others.

Banda A Zorra

On the road since 2001, A Zorra stands out among Axé Music's most sought-after bands in the country. Playing for 18 years, the band has singer-songwriter Léo Cavalcanti at the head of the group exuding charisma and sympathy. In addition to being a prominent presence in the carnival of Salvador, A Zorra is a guaranteed success throughout the history of Votuporanga's carnival. Dilsinho

Dilsinho is conquering the country with his songs, wich many of them are own material, and with his charisma and performance on stage. He comes to the Oba Festival 2020 for the first time. Dilsinho was born and raised in Ilha do Governador, in the North zone of Rio de Janeiro city, and he is passionated for music since childhood. As a composer, Dilsinho started to be known in the samba and pagode industries, making lyrics to Thiaguinho, Bom Gosto e Alexandre Pires. Nowadays, with around 20 shows per month, he is increasingly captivating the music market.

Nowadays, GBR DJ is very requested mainly at São Paulo funk events. The guy has been conquering the audience wherever he goes and promises an unforgettable performance on the Oba World stage. He is considered one of the pioneers of funk-rave, a rhythm that mixes electronic music with funk, and it has been implemented in a number of hits on the main charts. Singer, musician and composer, the guy from Minas Gerais is responsable for a variety of successful country musics all over Brazil. Gusttavo Lima is on the top raking of songs played and released by the Crowley Institute as the 100 most popular musics on the radio from January until June 2019 with the song “Cem Mil”. The singer has more than 4 billions visualisations on Youtube and more than 22 millions followers on Instagram.

Do you believe MC Kevinho will land in Votuporanga? That is right! It will be a blast! The São Paulo funk player will bring to Oba his biggest hits such as “Olha a Explosão”, “Elas Gostam” and “Tumbalatum”. His first release in 2017, called “O Grave Bater” reached 6 millions access in 18 hours, and 12 millions access in 32 hours of release, being considered the national record. The young funk player has recorded with Léo Santana, DJ Dennis, Naiara Azevedo and in Votuporanga he promisses to make a great party!

This singer has a voice who makes you dance with a great swing. Léo Santana left the Parangolé band to conquer the stages of Brazil. At Salvador Fest 2010, he joined the Guinness Book with his band, making more than 100,000 people dance the “Rebolation”. However, he is one of the most popular brazilian singers. In 2020, Léo Santana once again brings his swing to Oba Festival and promisses not to let people still.

The band Atitute 67 is composed of 6 childhood friends who used to play in bars for a long time, then decided to quit their professions to pursue a career in São Paulo. Who has not listened the chorus “Gosta de boteco e de cerveja de garrafa/ E nunca ligou/ Pra toda fumaça que eu faço/ E toda vez que eu relaxo/ Eu imagino um mundo belo assim com você do lado”?, do not worry, you will probably listen to it somewhere. They will be at the Oba Festival for the first time and promise not to let anyone stand still.

Banda Eva

Banda Eva, also known as the name Eva, is a brazilian axé band. Started in 1977 as a student union, the Eva has become a carnival block in 1980, parading in Salvador streets, annually commanded by several reputed artists. For more than three decades, they helped to prepared great singers such as Ivete Sangalo, Emanuelle Araújo and Saulo Fernandes. Lately, commanded by Felipe Pezzoni, the Banda Eva is back to Oba Festival 2020 to show their biggest music sucessess.

Lugui and Pedrão are young DJs and music producers behind the Cat Dealers project, considered number 74 on the Top 100 of the world's biggest DJs by the British magazine DJ Mag, and one of the biggest and most beloved names in the Brazilian electronic music. Sum over 100 million streams on their Youtube channel. They have been to Rock in Rio, Lollapalooza, among other events.

For those who has liked his two last performances on stage, can celebrate because Dennis DJ will rock again at Oba 2020! One of the main names of brazilian funk lately, he made the hits “Malandramente”, “Perigosa”, “Malbec” and “Professor da Malandragem”. Dennis DJ has more than 602 millions visualisations on Youtube and 6,2 millions listeners monthly on Spotify, where he conquered levels as the forth more listened artist in Brazil, and is also on the top 500 list of the world. Dennis DJ is one of the most expected artists at Votuporanga carnival.

Monobloco

“Uh, Monobloco!” is one of the most expected rallying cries for the Oba Festival. When the drummings from the people of Rio de Janeiro begins to be played, everyone at the party approach the stage and the Monobloco magic takes over. It is one of the most wanted shows at Oba. The Monobloco begun as a carnival block and it brings thousands of fans to Rio de Janeiro, São Paulo and Belo Horizonte parades, wich are cities where the group also conduct percussion workshops.
 
 

Thascya

Born in Uberlândia, DJ and producer Thascya is a rising star in the Brazilian electronic scene. Named for three consecutive years as the best DJ in the country, she plays competitive shows in Brazil and abroad. In the United States, she has already opened shows for famous names, as well as being cited by "Billboard" magazine in the list of the best remixes in the world of Justin Timberlake's hit "Can't Stop The Feeling!".

Tomate

Singer, composer, musician and musical productor, Tomate is a Bahian name that could not be out of the biggest carnival of São Paulo state. Tomate is known by his unbreakable energy and the irreverent way that makes everyone excited and joyful. He brings a repertoire with a remarkable rhythm, beats and musical chords harmonized with an ecletic sound mix that includes pop, rock, metal and dance with hints of country music and axé beats.

Zé Neto & Cristiano

“Amigo Taxista”, the duo Zé Neto & Cristiano is considered one of the best on the current country music scenario. They will show all the power and versatility of young people´s country music at the Oba Festival 2020. Earlier this year, the duo recorded in São Paulo their third DVD, entitled “Esquece o Mundo Lá Fora”, wich is a new release. Zé Neto & Cristiano come from a neighbor city of our town. The brothers are from São José do Rio Preto rural area.
